A partial lunar eclipse would be visible tonight in the skies of Saudi Arabia, GCC countries and other continents in the world.
The cosmic event will start at 8.23pm as per Mecca local time and reach its peak at 9.20pm when 25 per cent of the moon becomes totally invisible due to the earth's shadow.
Saudi astronomer and member of the Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences (AUASS) Mulhim bin Mohammed Hindi said the lunar eclipse would end around 10.18pm.
