SANAD Youth Centre tightened its grip on the top position in Group Four beating Al Qadisiya Youth Centre 5-1 and take their points tally to seven in the Hamad bin Khalid Futsal League for Youth Centres, People with Disabilities and Girls (Khalid 5) at the Khalifa Sports City Hall.
The highlight of the match was Rashid Jamal’s amazing goal for Sanad. His long-ranger from his own penalty area found the net at the other end much to the disbelief of the players on the field as well as the fans in the stands.
In other matches, Busaiteen beat South Sehla 3-1 in Group Five and Group Six Sanabis defeated Maqaba 4-2 and Isa Town edged out Al Daih 3-2.
Four matches, with the first starting at 5pm, are scheduled for today. Al Buhair take on last year’s runners-up Safrah, Karzakkan clash with Muharraq, Buri Club meet Abusaiba and Hoora and Gudaibiya challenge Damistan.
Sanad’s Rashid Jamal, Busaiteen’s Ahmed Al Ansari, Sanabis’ Mohammed Abdul Kareem and Isa Town’s Abdulla Al Arabi won the best player prizes of their respective matches.

Ali Al Bainain, deputy president of Bahrain Football Association, and Abdulrahman Abdul Khaliq, retired international referee and member of AFC Arbitration and Nomination Committee, witnessed some of the matches on Saturday and praised Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, first deputy president of Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and honourary president of Bahrain Sports Federation for Disabilities for his generous patronage of Khalid 5.
