Construction work on the Sabah Al-Salem University City in Al-Shadadiyya, Kuwait, on track for completion in 2019, a report said.
The project, launched in 2012 as part of 'Kuwait 2035' vision, is now 85 per cent complete, said a Kuna report.
The project covers 6 million sq m and includes the Main Campus and the Health Sciences Center Campus, apart from support services, including student hostels and allied facilities.
The Main Campus construction includes: College of Art and College of Education project; College of Architecture (COA) and College of Computing Sciences and Engineering (CCSE) project; College of Business and College of Women project; College of Engineering and Petroleum project; College of Science and the Faculty Club project; College of Social Science, Shari'a and Islamic Studies, and Law project.
The colleges in the university are expected to accommodate a total of 40,000 male and female students.
