THE Bahrain Swimming Association (BSA) named Lounes Madene as their technical advisor as part of their new strategy to develop water sports in the kingdom.

Madene, Bahrain Olympic Committee’s projects and technical director, will be responsible for providing his consultancy services for the association to run their upcoming programmes.

The association has unveiled a series of pioneering training programmes that are part of its new strategy to expand water sports in the kingdom.

Registration for four major programmes has already begun, with the deadline being Monday.

Entry fee is BD20 for the children’s programme, BD25 for the talents identification programme, and BD40 for the elite programme. For registration, call 17680867 or 39268375.
