Two leading Saudi members of the Muslim Brotherhood group have been arrested as part of the investigation into the spy cell which was busted by the police.
Salman Al-Ouda and Awadh Al-Garni are accused of pledging allegiance to the Muslim Brotherhood and links with leader Dr. Youssef Al-Qaradaoui.
Al-Qaradaoui, Head of Head of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, the arm of the Muslim Brotherhood, is citied in the terror listed which was released by the Arab Quartet, which includes Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt.
Saudi Arabia had branded the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization and warned that anyone affiliated with the group would be arrested.
The Saudi Interior Ministry has also ordered the closure of any school or institution affiliated with the prohibited Muslim Brotherhood and take legal action against any Saudi national who has affinities with the banned group.
