THE main themes of discussion at the qualifying course in sport professionalism system to be held at S Hotel on Saturday have been approved.
The event is being organised by the Union of Arab National Olympic Committees’ Arab Sport Pioneers Association and supported by Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC).
General coordinator Ali Radi said a group of elite Arab instructors will be present to hold discussions related to sport professionalism as well as its requirement, regulations, rights, duties and effect of sport professionalism on an athlete’s life.
Some of the Arab region’s well-known academics including Dr Mohammed Al Ruwaished of Saudi Arabia, Dr Mohammed Diyabat of Jordan, Dr Aziz Kareem of Iraq and Bahrain’s Dr Abdulrahman Sayyar and Nabeel Taha will be speaking at the event.
Meanwhile, representatives of the preparatory committee headed by Ali Radi, visited S Hotel premises to review the preparations being made for the event.
The committee also includes Jalal Mukhtar, Mohammed Al Balooshi and Fai Buallai.
