Saudi Arabia extradited 91 fugitives of different nationalities in 2015-2016 under judicial co-operation agreements with various countries, according to Sabq newspaper.
The deportees were wanted in their home countries for their involvement in terrorist crimes, murder, electronic crimes, fraud and breach of trust.
Saudi Public Prosecutor Shaikh Saud bin Abdullah Al Muajab unveiled the statistics as he addressed the 22nd annual conference and general meeting of the International Association of Prosecutors in Beijing.
Riyadh authorities extradited 14 fugitives over the same period to countries which are not linked with Saudi Arabia by judicial agreements.
He stressed strong judicial co-operation between the GCC member states, pointing out specially the communication between judicial and prosecution authorities, exchanging information relating to international terror and organised crime.
