A massive free online educational programme was unveiled in Dubai, according to Albayan newspaper.
UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum launched the e-educational project which will optimise the use of digital technologies to disseminate education in the Arab region.
The ambitious e-learnning project aspires to reach more than 50 million students all over the Arab region.

The project, which is part of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), aims to bridge the knowledge and educational gap in the Arab world.
While deploring the standard of education in the Arab world, Shaikh Mohammed said that maths and science represent the key to usher in the renaissance of Arab civilisation.
“Providing high quality education in science and maths to all Arab students is essential to revitalise our Arab civilisational development,” he said, describing e-learning as the fastest way to bridge the educational gap in the Arab world.
