The Imam Mohammed bin Saud Islamic University has decided not to renew the contracts of some teachers for their affiliation with the banned Muslim brotherhood.
The decision, which was announced by the university board, applies to Saudi and non-Saudi pro-Muslim Brotherhood teaching staff, according to Sabq newspaper.
The Muslim Brotherhood was blacklisted after being branded as a terrorist organisation by the Quartet, which includes Saudi, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt.
