Manama: His Majesty King Hamad yesterday sent a cable of congratulations to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on Saudi Arabia’s National Day.
He expressed his best wishes of health, happiness and long life to King Salman and of further progress and prosperity to the people of Saudi Arabia, under his wise leadership.
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa expressed pride in Saudi Arabia’s key role in strengthening Arab solidarity.
He also wished Bahraini-Saudi relations further progress.
The Premier also sent a similar cable to Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Defence Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, also congratulated the Saudi leaders.
The Premier will today attend a ceremony marking Saudi National Day. The Saudi Embassy in Bahrain is organising the celebration, which will be attended by members of the Royal Family, senior officials, ministers and dignitaries.
