KHK MMA Fight Team, an initiative of Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation honorary president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, made yet another achievement as KHK MMA athletes made it to the top of International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) rankings.
Abdulmanap Magomedov (10), Hamza Zrira (29) and Hussain Abdulla (34) came among the top 50 ranks among fighters worldwide as Bahrain is preparing to host the 2017 IMMAF World Championships of Amateur MMA under the patronage of His Majesty the King’s representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Bahrain has evolved into a global leader in combat sports due to the strong initiatives in amateur and professional levels led by Shaikh Khalid. KHK MMA athletes had represented Bahrain national team in Singapore and South Africa and won multiple medals.
Bahrain will be the only nation other than the USA to host a world championship and the first in the Middle East to hold an International Combat Week. Brave Combat Federation is gearing up to host the largest fight card in the history of Middle East during the International Combat Week.
