The Bahrain Tennis Club (BTC) organised the second refereeing course at BTC premises in Juffair under the supervision of Bahrain international referee Ahmed Al Hawaj.
A total of 50 sports teachers representing the Ministry of Education, as well as employees from BTC and Bahrain Tennis Association (BTA) took part in the course.
BTC director Hamdi Abduljawwad said the BTC will continue organising such courses and workshops to create a new generation of referees for tennis wheelchair and line-referees, as well as prepare the current referees for the upcoming Bahrain International Junior Tournament set to be held from October 23 to 28.
At the end of the course, BTC vice chairman Merza Al Sammak presented the certificates to all the participants.
