The streamlined non-sponsored tourism visas will only benefit residents or holders of valid visas to the USA, Canada, Australia and the UK, or Schengen countries at the time of the application.
A list released by Royal Oman Police (ROP) includes Azerbaijan, Armenia, Albania, Uzbekistan, Iran, Panama, Bhutan, Bosnia, Peru, Belarus, Turkmenistan, The Maldives, Georgia, Honduras, Salvador, Tajikistan, Guatemala, Vietnam, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Cuba, Costa Rica, Laos, Mexico and Nicaragua.
Visitors wishing to benefit from the measure must have six-month valid passports at least from the date of application, return tickets and hotel reservations in Oman.
