SMOKERS have been reportedly snapping up cigarettes from supermarket shelves after Bahrain approved plans to introduce selective taxes on tobacco, energy drinks and soft drinks.
The new levy will see the prices of tobacco and energy drinks going up by 100 per cent while soft drinks prices will become more expensive by 50pc .
