Dubai: French President Emmanuel Macron will pay an official visit on to the United Arab Emirates to open the iconic Louvre Abu Dhabi on Wednesday 8.
Abu Dhabi Crown and UAE Armed Forces Deputy Supreme Commander Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan will attend the opening ceremony.
During the two-day visit, President Macron will also inspect the French military contingents deployed at Al-Dhafra Military base in South Abu Dhabi
According to a statement issued by The Élysée Palace, President Macron will attend the French-UAE economic forum in Dubai and visit the Paris-Sorbonne University of Abu Dhabi.
The statement which was issued by the presidential palace described the UAE as “very important partner for France”.
