Maayof Al Romaihi steered Alvera to victory in the second round of Horse Pride Championship held at Bahrain Military Sports Federation course.
Al Romaihi hurdled obstacles of 95-105cm and rounded off a flawless performance in 20.95 seconds to win the main event, level one for senior showjumpers.
Coming second was Sami Ghazwan (23.02 seconds) who was riding Miss Adhary. He, however, went on to secure the title of the second competition for senior showjumpers, also riding Miss Adhary.He amassed 44 points after flawlessly completing the contest in 36.91 seconds.
Ahmed Mansor took second place, finishing almost six seconds behind the victor.
Meanwhile, Ahmed Isa was on top form, winning first place of the level 1 and level 2 junior events.
The Horse Pride Championship featured several female Saudi showjumpers, who praised Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) for its support to them.
The championship aims at preparing horsemen for the 2017-2018 horse jumping season.
