A total of 700 students took part in the 27th annual day celebrations of the New Indian School (NIS) Bahrain yesterday.
Indian Ambassador Alok Kumar Sinha was chief guest of the evening at the Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam, Segaiya.
Other guests were Foreign Ministry human financial resources and consular affairs assistant under-secretary Yusuf Ebrahim Abdulla Al Jawder, Education Ministry education specialist Noora Muhsen Al Mushari and Indian Embassy second secretary Anand Prakash.
Proficiency awards for students and service awards for teachers were distributed at the event.
Students presented entertainment programmes.
