A new treatment could give a ray of hope to diabetes patients and help improve their lives.
The new method could reduce the number of insulin injections by up to 50 per cent, Health Ministry diabetes consultant Dr Amal Al Ghanim told our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej.
The new treatment was unveiled during the European Diabetes Congress, which was held recently in Lisbon, Portugal.
A Bahraini delegation took part in the conference as part of efforts to keep abreast of medical strides.
