VIDEOS: Remembrance Day commemorated at British Embassy

Remembrance Day was commemorated today with a wreath-laying ceremony at the British Embassy.
The event, which is held annually to remember British and Commonwealth servicemen and women who have given their lives in the line of duty, was attended by Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, British Ambassador Simon Martin, Bahrain British Business Forum (BBBF) officials and dignitaries.
Guests of honour were the visiting Chelsea Pensioners who are residents of the famous Royal Hospital Chelsea home for veterans in London.
Shaikh Khalid said the occasion reminded the world of the need for joint co-operation and concerted efforts to establish peace and security, and also promote the spirit of co-existence for a more prosperous future.
Mr Martin thanked the minister for attending the event which reflected his sincere humane feelings.
