A five-year-old Indian girl, whose parents hail from Kerala, died of fever in Abu Dhabi, a media report said on Saturday.
Rayeesa, a kindergarten student at a school in Abu Dhabi, was suffering from fever for a week and died yesterday, Khaleej Times reported.
She was the only child of her parents who hail from the Malappuram district in Kerala.
Her father, Rafi, works at a private company in Baniyas.
With changing weather conditions, there has been a spurt in cases of fever in Abu Dhabi, the capital and the second most populous city of the UAE, the report said.
