Titled 'Real Story of', the series will air tales of 'Donnie Brasco', 'American Sniper' among others at 10pm every Sunday on Discovery Channel, a statement issued by channel said.

"For instance, it isn't widely known that Donnie Brasco's character, an FBI agent (played by Johnny Depp), was supposed to be undercover for a few months but the actual time ended up being six years," she said.

The other movies that have been lined up for the series include 'Munich', 'Exodus' and 'Face Of An Angel'.
