Kuwait expressed support to Bahrain and Saudi Arabia backing all measures being undertaken to maintain their national security and stability, reports KUNA.
The stance was voiced during the weekly Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shaikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah.
The statement of support was made in the backdrop of the terrorist oil pipeline blast in Bahrain and the launch of a ballistic missile by the Iran-backed Houthi militias, targeting the Saudi capital, Riyadh, from Yemeni territory.
The session also welcomed the outcome of Arab foreign ministers’ meeting which condemned Iran's interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries.
The Kuwaiti stance was echoed by Deputy Foreign Minister Khalid Al Jarrallah who pointed to the Iranian blatant interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries.
“What’s happening in Bahrain is part of the Iranian interference in the Arab world,” he said as he attended a ceremony marking the 29th anniversary of the Palestinian Declaration of Independence.
