New Delhi: Shaikh Hamad bin Saif Al Rawahi, the Sultanate's Ambassador to the Republic of India, hosted a reception on the occasion of the 47th National Day at the embassy's headquarters in New Delhi.
The Indian government was represented by M.J Akbar, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs as the guest of honour.
A number of officials at the Indian Foreign Ministry, the Director General of the Gulf Department, Dean of the National Defense College and the Commander of the Coast Guard attended the reception.
Ambassadors of GCC countries, Gulf diplomats, ambassadors, heads of Arab, Islamic and foreign diplomatic missions, and a number of military and cultural attachés of the GCC countries, Arab and foreign countries accredited to the Republic of India, as well as a number of businessmen, university professors, intellectuals and media professionals also attended the reception.
