MANAMA: Noor Enterprises Holding has launched its latest real estate project, The District, a mixed-use development comprising an office property, extensive retail space and a high-end residential tower, in Bahrain.

Situated on the northern shoreline of Seef, The District will introduce an integrated and self-sustaining community to the market, which reflects the project’s ‘work, shop, stay’ objective, said a statement from leading property expert Savills.

A UK company offering multiple professional real estate services, Savills has been signed up by Noor Enterprises as development consultants for the project.

Its scope of work will primarily include property valuation, development consultancy, market research and property sales and management services.

Savills will also act as the interim leasing agent for The District Tower which will boast a 14-storey building providing 14,000 sqm of office space with panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf

Bahrain-based contracting firm Cebarco has already started construction work and the tower will be ready for delivery by the second quarter of 2018, said the statement from Savills.

The District Tower offers a prestigious location alongside The Ritz-Carlton Bahrain with excellent access to highways, Bahrain International Airport and King Fahad Causeway besides a magnificently-luxurious entrance lobby with a six-metre-tall ceiling.

“The District will redefine the northern shoreline of the kingdom by utilising innovative technologies and offering unparalleled access to world-class services, all while adhering to principles of universal design,” said Noor Enterprises Holding president Shaikha Noor bint Rashid Al Khalifa.

The key amenities in The District include a unique club level facility, a guest valet parking, ample tenant parking in a secure underground basement besides dedicated 24-hour reception and security services.

Also it will have designated floor elevators for privacy and additional security.

Savills Northern Gulf chief executive Donald Bradley said: “Noor Enterprises Holding has a clear vision and commitment to style, elegance and sustainable living that will attract the most discerning tenants and clients.”

“The District represents a new era in work/life integrated living in the GCC,” he added.
