November seventh month this year to break heat records

Manama: November has become the seventh month this year to have broken heat records.

So far 2017 has seen the hottest April, June, July, August, September, October, and now November, while May was the second hottest since records started in 1902.

Figures from the Meteorological Directorate released yesterday showed that the highest temperature last month was 34.4C on November 3 at Bahrain International Airport.

The lowest temperatures were recorded at 19.7C on November 26 at Bahrain International Airport, and 16C on the same day at Durrat Al Bahrain.

Last month also witnessed 13 days of maximum temperature exceeding 30C.
