A committee to oversee the upcoming elections at the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) has been announced.

The eight-member committee headed by Jassaim Abdul A’al will be responsible for receiving and reviewing applications for board membership and supervising the election process.

This was announced today by BCCI chairman Khalid Al Moayed and follows the decision of the board’s 24th meeting held in September.

The other members are Yousif Salahuddin, Ghassan Qassim Fakhro, Rashed Abdulrahman, Nada Ahmadi, Abduljalil Al A’ali, Zainat Al Mansori, Khalid Al Awadhi and Fareed Ghazi Rafea.

The BCCI board elections scheduled for February will elect the new 18-member board for its four-year term.
