Bahrain’s leaders praise Saudi Arabia

MANAMA: His Majesty King Hamad yesterday sent a cable of congratulations to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the third anniversary of his accession to the throne, hailing Saudi Arabia’s landmark development strides and deep-rooted bilateral relations.

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, sent similar cables to King Salman.

The Premier said King Salman is leading Saudi Arabia’s war on terror, the main concern of all countries, with decisiveness and determination, and achieving major successes to ensure security and peace.

The Premier congratulated the Saudi people on King Salman’s leadership and pioneering role in their country’s renaissance and stability.

He also voiced pride in the Saudi monarch’s achievements related to reinforcing Arab unity, strengthening Islamic solidarity, consolidating GCC co-operation and defending legitimate Islamic and Arab causes.

The Prime Minister reiterated Bahrain’s pride in its deep-rooted relations with Saudi Arabia and its constant keenness on enhancing them further.

The Crown Prince paid tribute to historic relations binding the two kingdoms and took pride in development achievements made during the prosperous era of King Salman.

Shura Council chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh, meanwhile, praised Saudi Arabia’s efforts to push progress in Arab and Islamic nations.
