Trade links between Bahrain and Azerbaijan and Bangladesh need to be stepped up, said Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) chairman Khalid Almoayed. He also highlighted the need to increase bilateral meetings and exchange of the visits of trade delegations to strengthen economic relations. During a meeting at Beit Al Tijjar with the Riyadh-resident Azeri Ambassador to Bahrain Rasim Rzayev, Mr Almoayed expressed BCCI’s readiness to develop economic relations with Azerbaijan through joint investment projects. Mr Almoayed separately met Bangladeshi Finance and Planning Minister Muhammad Abdul Mannan, in the presence of BCCI board member Jawad Al Hawaj. The BCCI chief expressed the desire of the private sector in Bahrain to develop relations with Bangladesh, calling for the need to take advantage for investment opportunities.
