A done deal

Karim Mansouri

I WAS surprised and disappointed to read that the minister of commerce sees the value added tax as a “zero sum game with no major impact in Bahrain, (GDN, December 28).

Exactly where will this revenue be spent? Does it go to pay interest on our debt to the Wall Street gang, i.e. The Federal Reserve Bank, a private, for profit, unaudited, company, the central bank of the US, printing the US dollar from “thin air” (aka the Federal Reserve Note if you read what is printed on the US dollar).

How much money will be filtered out of Bahrain with this VAT, how is that a zero sum game (zero sum game is a mathematical model, similar to the climate change hoax)?

I hope our parliament will have the intelligence to vote against this tax! However, sadly, I believe the tax is a done deal, thank you International Monetary Fund.
