KSA - Saudi families will attend a football match for the first time on Friday (January 12) between Al-Ahli and Al-Baten in Jeddah.

Families will also be allowed to attend the clash between arch-rivals Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad on Saturday (Jan13) in Riyadh and the match between Al-Ittifaq and Al-Faisali in Dammam on the 18th of January.

The General Sports Authority announced last October the decision to allow women to attend soccer matches in three designated stadiums in the cities of Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam.

The three designated stadiums – King Fahd Stadium in Riyadh, King Abdulla Stadium (Al-Jawhara) in Jeddah and Prince Mohammed bin Fahd in Dammam have finished all the required arrangements – including family-only sections and corridors.
