Alba are close to clinching the Companies and Establishments Football League title after defeating Bapco 4-1 in a sixth-round match at the Bapco Club football ground in Awali.
Alba remained on top of the CEFL table with 14 points and they need just one point in the last round to be declared as champions. Bapco, with nine points, are out of contention for the title.
Alba led the first half of the match 2-1, with goals by Masoud Qambar in the 18th minute and Isa Al Barri in the 23rd minute, before Bapco reduced the margin in the 32nd minute through Abdulnabi Makki.
Alba went on to score two goals in first five minutes of the second half. Isa Ibrahim and Qambar were the scorers in the 47th and 49th minutes.
