The Saudi population grew by 2.52 per cent last year to stand at 32.5 million by the end of 2017, up from 31.7 million in 2016.
According to latest figures released by the General Authority for Statistics, males make up a majority of 57.5 per cent, while the proportion of female populations stands at 42.5 per cent.
The census was conducted by the General Authority for Statistics to scrutinize the demographic trends in the Saudi society.
