SHAIKH Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, first deputy president of Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, honourary president of Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Association and president of the Organising Committe of the International Brave Week for Martial Arts, yesterday received at Al Wadi Palace minister of youth and sport affairs Hisham bin Mohammed Al Jawder and general assistant secretary of High Council of Youths and sport and general secretary of Bahrain Olympic Committe Abdulrahman Sadiq Asker and other high ranking officials and organising committee members of the International Brave Week for Martial Arts.
The event was part of the World Tournament for IMMAF World Championships of Amateur MMA, held from November 12 to 19, 2017.

Shaikh Khalid congratulated everyone associated with the grand success of the International Brave Week.
“We are glad to meet you today to praise your efforts in making the International Brave Week for Martial Arts a great success,” said Shaikh Khalid.
“This success underlines Bahrain’s capacity to host major international events,” he added.
“There is no doubt that the contribution of various ministries, government authorities and private companies and corporations went a long way in making the International Brave Week for Martial Arts a grand success.”
Khalid Abdulalziz Al Khyat, president of Bahraini Martial Mixed Arts Federation, praised Shaikh Khalid for encouraging and supporting sports and youth affairs in Bahrain.
He also hailed the role of Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khaifa, Representative of His Majesty for Charity and Youths Affairs and president of High Council for Youths and Sports, for his constant backing of Bahraini youth in various sports.
Later Shaikh Khalid presented mementoes to everyone who supported the event in appreciation of their efforts.
