PARTY-GOERS can look forward to a brand new theme night, Trancephoria, which will be launched this weekend. Co-hosted by Saudrain and Vibes, the event tomorrow will take place at the Gulf Hotel Bahrain Convention and Spa. CELEBRATIONS are in store as the Sri Lankan Engineering Society Bahrain hosts its ninth anniversary event this weekend.

Established in March 2008, the society is open to engineers as well as other professionals in the field such as quantity surveyors and project managers.

Its core activity is to develop the skills of its members and Sri Lankan engineering professionals in Bahrain. The event will take place on Friday at Downtown Rotana in Manama, from 6.30pm. Call 38880451 or 39163608 for further information.

SKILLED and experienced dancers are invited to audition for a new creation by Federica Bottini. 

Dancers, aged 14 years and above, of all styles are welcome and should be ready to further develop a sensitive awareness of the body and movement and be able to follow direction, while telling a story through body language. 

Auditions will take place on Saturday at The 7th Wave Performing Arts School, Saar at 5pm.
