SHAIKH Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, first deputy president of Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and honorary president of Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Association, aims to strengthen sporting ties with Jordan as Amman is set to host the tenth event of Brave Combat Federation - Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises - on March 2 at the King Hussain Sport City.
“This event (Brave 10) will continue the pace of our efforts to strengthen the position of Bahrain in mixed martial arts. Our choice of Amman to hold the 10th edition comes from our priority to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries,” said Shaikh Khalid.
Brave Combat Federation was established on September 23, 2016 by Shaikh Khalid as the first sports media property in the history of the Kingdom.
The key vision of the promotion is to globalise MMA and establish a system that will focus on the sport transcending the barriers of language, culture and marketing conventions to nurture athletes and to provide them a global platform.
Within a year of operations, Brave emerged as the fastest growing mixed martial arts promotion in the world and the largest in MENA region with its content telecast to 84 nations and roughly 833-million audience worldwide.
Brave 10 will feature athletes from 13 nations competing in Amman.
