Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi will pay a three-day state visit to Muscat on Sunday at the invitation of Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman.
An official ceremony will be held for the Egyptian leader who will be visiting Oman for the first time, said Oman News Agency.
“The visit comes in the framework of fruitful co-operation between Oman and Egypt,” said the statement.
Egyptian state-run Middle East News Agency (MENA) said that President Al Sisi would meet Sultan Qaboos and other senior officials.
“The two sides will hold official talks and discuss joint co-operation in all fields,” said Egyptian Presidency official spokesman Bassam Radhi.
The two leaders will also discuss Arab, regional and international developments.
