Moroccan budding singer Hamza Labyadh won the 2nd Voice Kids talent show in the final which was aired last night on MBC TV Channel.
He was declared the 2018 laureate, outclassing five other aspirants from Egypt, Iraq, Yemen, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon.
The 14-week competition, which was launched last year, targets talented child singers aged 7 to 14 years.
Ten-year-old Hamza gained the popular contest after winning the highest number of votes via SMS and phone calls.
Yemeni contender Maria Al-Qahtan, barely eight years, was the runner-up, becoming the youngest child to take part in the Arabic version of Voice Kids.
The winner receives SR200,000, a scholarship to pursue his studies, in addition to other gifts and a video of a special song.
