BCC power past Young Boys

BCC defeated Young Boys by 78 runs in the Asghar Ali Premier league organised by Cricket Bahrain Association.

Rizwan Baig top scored with 41 runs as BCC posted 186 runs after batting first. Qamar Saeed claimed three wickets for Young Boys. In reply, Young Boys could only manage 108 runs. Ali Dawood took three wickets for BCC.

Climax Zalmi A defeated Hajweri by six wickets in another fixture. Jabbar claimed five wickets for Climax to restrict Hajweri to 116 runs. Climax reached the winning target after losing four wickets with Jabbar contributing 43 runs.

Meanwhile, Public Security Blue defeated Lanka Lions by three wickets. Public Security Blue lost seven wickets to overtake Lanka Lions’ score of 107 with Naveed Khan top scoring with 39 runs.

BCC A defeated Public Security Red by seven wickets in another fixture. Fahad Sadeq claimed four wickets for BCC A as Public Security Red were bowled out for 70 runs. Sarfraz Ali led the chase with 40 runs as BCC A reached the winning target after losing three wickets.

In another match, Climax Zalmi outplayed Young Challengers by nine wickets. Young Challengers were all out for 74 runs as Rizwan Shah claimed three wickets for Climax Zalmi, who later chased down the target for the loss of one wicket. Gul Bashar remained unbeaten on 39.
