TWO major accidents this morning resulted in injuries to just one driver.
In one incident a car burst into flames after crashing into a central reservation, while in the other a minibus overturned after colliding with a pavement.
The first happened at around 1.30am on Al Estiqlal Highway, near Isa Town, when three Bahrainis managed to escape the car before it burst into flames after colliding with a barrier.
The driver required hospital treatment, but his two passengers were unharmed and firemen were called to extinguish the burning vehicle.
At around 5.30am in Salmabad a minibus overturned after hitting the pavement, but the driver and his passenger - both from Pakistan - escaped injury.
