EUROPEAN and World Combat Sambo Champion Ikram Aliskerov has arrived in Bahrain to train at the KHK MMA Gym.

Undefeated mixed martial arts artists who have the experience of fighting in over 100 amateur MMA fights will be appearing in the tenth edition of Brave to be held in Amman on March 2.

Aliskerov will be facing another undisputed fighter Chad Hanekom from South Africa. The bout is decisive in shaping the future of the middleweight division of Brave Combat Federation.

Aliskerov, a native of Dagestan, also trains at the Champion club in Derbent under the legendary coach Esedulla Emiragaev.

Dagestan has produced numerous talents in MMA, Wrestling and Combat Sambo over the years.

“Bahrain and the initiatives of Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa have had far reaching results in the world of sports.

“The ripple effect of the initiatives made in the kingdom is felt around the world. This made me choose KHK MMA gym to prepare for my bout,” said Aliskerov.
