Commuters on their way to work on Sunday faced delays due to heavy traffic flow and accidents in key areas of Dubai, according to Gulf News.
An accident near Dubai International Airport affected traffic from the Rashidiya exit of Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed (MBZ) Road towards Umm Ramool, which caused further delays on Airport Road.

Heavy traffic jams were also reported in the usual hotspots, including Ras Al Khor, Shaikh Rashid Road and Shaikh Zayed Road from the World Trade Centre to the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
Another accident delayed motorists on the Dubai-Al Ain Road, disrupting traffic heading into Dubai.
Motorists driving from Sharjah into Dubai also faced major delays on Al Ittihad Road, MBZ Road and Al Taawun area.

Police warned motorists to take extra caution when driving during the fog, and offered safety tips on how to drive safe, such as not to use their hazard lights on roads, reduce the speed and maintain a distance between other vehicles.

Abu Dhabi Police urged motorists not to be distracted on the roads, and to not take photos or videos with their mobile phone.
