Weather Update: Dust storm expected to dissipate later in the day

Manama: The dust storm is expected to dissipate later in the day, announced the Meteorological Directorate.

The country experienced partly cloudy weather with rising sand and haze in the morning.

According to the latest forecast posted on Weather of Bahrain twitter account, visibility dropped to 500 meters at Bahrain International Airport but is expected to clear up later in the day.

Wind is mainly south-easterly with speed of 12 to 17 knots, reaching 17 to 22 knots at times, becoming north-westerly in the morning and reaching 22 to 27 knots later in the day.

Temperature will reach a maximum of 24C and a minimum of 14C, while humidity is a maximum of 80 per cent and minimum of 30pc.
