Wok Station is celebrating the Chinese New Year with a Dim Sum Festival.

The restaurant deliciously blends Southeast Asian cuisine with an ambience of casual dining and is located in Galleria Mall, Zinj and Platinum Tower, Seef.

Making its debut in Bahrain in January 2017, home-grown Asian restaurant Wok Station is the hottest ticket in town.

After a positive and encouraging response for the first outlet in Galleria Mall, the restaurant

recently opened at Platinum Tower, in the heart of Seef.

With a trendy, casual, street-style ambience, Wok Station uses high-quality, healthy, farm fresh ingredients to offer an internationally-influenced menu inspired by cuisines from China, Japan, Korea, Burma and Thailand.

The food and the interiors are inspired by Southeast Asian street-style food creating a casually sophisticated dining experience in a modern, chic yet comfortable and inviting atmosphere.

“According to the Chinese calendar, Wok Station brings in the Year of the Dog with a specially designed Dim Sum Festival menu,” said Wok Station head chef Chen, who designed the menu.

With a clear focus on keeping its offerings innovative and healthy, the festival showcases a range that has been created by enhancing the Southeast Asian flavours. Curated with the right palate experience, exotic choice of ingredients, balancing flavours and an appealing presentation, Chef Chen has transformed each dim sum into a visual treat.

To suit the palate and appetite of every dim sum lover, the festival offers its servings as an ‘all you can eat’ option at an unbeatable price of BD12 per person.

This menu is available all day.

The festival features an exotic range of steaming dim sum, dumplings and buns.

To name a few – bean curd paper roll with duck meat, beef tenderloin and scallions, Fujian chicken rice, mantou sweet bun, Napa cabbage with seaweed chicken, shrimps and corn, sweet lotus root and shrimp, truffle edamame, water chestnut and corn, and wild mushroom and veggies.

Bean curd paper roll with duck meat has a black mushroom and duck meat filling, wrapped in hand-made bean curd rice paper with black sesame seeds.

The inspiration behind beef tenderloin and scallions is the classic Chinese combination of juicy tenderloin and crunchy scallions.

Fujian chicken rice is a unique dim sum with minced chicken filling, covered in rice and garnished with minced carrots.

Truffle edamame is a melt-in-your-mouth dim sum with mellow flavours of the edamame bean and truffle fungi. Wild mushrooms and veggies is a dim sum filled with six exotic types of mushrooms and zucchini, in a vibrant green colour.

Wok Station recommends Bean Curd Paper Roll with Duck Meat, Beef Tenderloin with Scallions, Fujian Chicken Rice, Truffle Edamame and Wild Mushrooms and Veggies.
