A huge sandstorm hit the governorate of Wadi Al Dawaser, covering the sky with dust, before lashing other areas of Saudi Arabia, Akhbaar24 reported.
Saudi meteorologist Zeyad Al Jahni captured an aerial view of the massive sandstorm as he was performing his duties aboard a plane.
The storm earlier hit Riyadh, shutting down schools, before lashing other areas, including Al Dawaser, Beesha, Al Baha, Al Taif, Mecca and Qunfuda.
The Presidency of the Meteorology and Environment (PME) had announced that turbulent weather and sandstorm wound continue on Thursday (February 15) before abating on Monday.
Meanwhile, educational authorities announced the closure of schools at Al Dawaser, Beesha, Medina and other parts of Saudi.
