Manama: Jailed opposition leader Ali Salman had his trial adjourned today.
Mr Salman is on trial, along with two former MPs, at the High Criminal Court accused of sharing state secrets with Qatar, including information about GCC forces in Bahrain.
The case is connected to phone conversations between senior members of Al Wefaq, which was dissolved in 2016 for inciting terrorism and promoting a coup, and Qatari officials dating back to 2011.
Police investigations showed that Mr Salman ordered his co-defendants, former Al Wefaq MPs Hassan Ali Sultan and Ali Al Aswad, to conspire with Qatari and Hizbollah officials.
The trial has been adjourned until March 1.
