Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing Administration conducts 108 flights in January


Abu Dhabi: The Air Wing Administration of the Central Operations Sector has conducted 108 flights in January, over external roads in Abu Dhabi.

The flights included 42 police missions, 25 training flights, three air patrols, five air ambulance missions, and 33 other tasks.

Brigadier Pilot Ibrahim Hassan Al Baloushi, Director of the Air Wing Administration, explained that the administration has organised initiatives for the Year of Zayed 2018, including hosting students from the Emirates National Schools, visiting a patient at Mafraq Hospital, and organising a lecture to instruct staff at the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi on how to deal with their air ambulances.

The administration’s aircraft are equipped with the latest advanced medical equipment and are run by medical staff who are qualified to provide social and humanitarian services, to rescue the injured and transfer patients to hospitals.
