A Saudi woman has been appointed Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Development, under royal decrees issued by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who also reshuffled top military posts
Dr Tamader bint Yousef Al Rammah was also designated to serve as supervisor of the Social Welfare and Family Agency, in addition to her new position in the Saudi Cabinet, according to Almowaten.
Al Rammah, an academic who worked at the King Saud University in Riyadh, also served as representative of Saudi Arabia’s Human Rights Commission in 2016.
She served as Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour and Social Development, before her promotion to Deputy Minister.
She holds a PhD in Radiology and Medical Engineering from Manchester University, Faculty of Medicine and Human Sciences.
She had graduated with a master's degree scan from Wales Bangor University in 2003 and conducted her undergraduate degree from King Saud University in the Saudi capital
She was a student leader in the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences for women at King Saud University, a member of the Quality and Development Unit of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences at the University and a member of the Zahra Breast Cancer Society in Riyadh.
Under the royal decrees issued by the Saudi leader, Kawther Al Arbash and Ghada Al Ghunaim have been appointed as members of the King Abdulaziz Centre for National dialogue board of trustees.
