Fire breaks out in flat in Sharjah; seven people treated

Sharjah: Seven people were rescued when a fire broke out this morning in a flat located in Downtown Al Tajer 3 residential tower in the emirate of Sharjah.

Five tenants who inhaled smoke received treatment on the spot while two others were taken to the hospital, reported Al-Bayan today.

Ther civil defence units intervened promptly and put out the blaze which was reported to central operations room at 7.08 AM.

The servicemen managed within a few minutes to extinguish the fire, which engulfed the kitchen and prevented flames from spreading to the neighbouring flats.
