Bahrain Duty Free backs tennis event

Bahrain Duty Free has renewed its sponsorship of one of the largest tennis events to be staged this year by Bahrain Tennis Club (BTC).

Bahrain Duty Free was announced as a Gold sponsor of the Bahrain ITF Futures Tennis Tournament to be hosted by BTC from March 19 to 24.

The event will be held under the patronage of His Majesty the King’s representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

BTC president Khamis Al Muqla visited the Bahrain Duty Free office at Bahrain International Airport and was greeted by Business Support head Sujat Ameen.

Al Muqla extended his appreciation to Bahrain Duty Free general manager Bassam Alwardi for stepping forward as a sponsor for the event.

Currently there are over 300 players, both men and women, from over 50 nations according to the entry list published by the International Tennis Federation.
