Riyadh: The 29th edition of the annual Arab Summit has been delayed until April, due to the Egyptian presidential elections.
The pan-Arab meeting was initially scheduled to be held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, late this month.
Saudi Minister of State for African Affairs Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan announced the postponement of the summit during a press conference held at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo.
Qattan said that consultations are underway between Arab countries to agree on a new date for the summit.
